The fire Monday afternoon at the home near 35th and Newport Avenue was contained to the kitchen but the family was displaced for the night due to smoke.
Early this morning fire crews were called back to the fully engulfed home after a neighbor called it in.
Firefighters have not said if there is any relation between the two fires.
Again, no one was home at the time of the second fire but the Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
Investigators continue to look for the cause of the fire.
