Field Trip's Rough Road Comes to Quiet End

A field trip that traveled a rough road came to a quiet end Monday. Millard North students aboard a bus involved in a Wisconsin pile-up are safe at home.

The interstate mishap happened south of Milwaukee on Sunday.

The 43 students, three teachers and chaperon all got off the bus as it arrived home around 4:30 Monday afternoon.

The school district wouldn't allow our cameras onto school property but we did speak with a few parents over the phone who were happy to have their children safe and back in Omaha. We have been told by two of those parents the DECA organizers have forbidden kids to speak with the media.

District officials said say all students of course can speak to anyone they choose off school property.
