A convicted felon is in trouble with the law again. Police say they caught him cruising in a stolen car.
The investigation started near 20th & St. Mary's Monday morning. A man told police his car had been taken from his garage. Monday afternoon, an officer spotted the stolen car driving around, not far from the victim's house.
Police say when the officer signaled for the driver to pull over, Robert Singleton hit the brakes, got out and tried to run.
Singleton was booked for theft by receiving and possession of burglar tools.
Prison records show Singleton has served time twice, on separate theft charges.
