The combination of falling temperatures and stiff winds has made the weather feel very wintry. The "feels like" temperatures felt like the teens for most of the afternoon.
Definitely a cool down from the relatively "balmy" 40s and 50s we've experienced over the past few days.
The forecast shows the chilly weather will continue to reside across the Heartland through at least the rest of the work week as highs will be stuck in the 20s and 30s.
This cold snap will be rather brief in duration, though, as highs will rebound into the 40s once again for the weekend.
