A group of local women walked the cat walk Saturday morning to raise money for a good cause.
The Lincoln Women's Chamber of Commerce hosted a fashion show and salad luncheon today.
All the proceeds go to setting up a scholarship for a non-traditional female student at Southeast Community College.
Organizers say often women can get grants for their tuition, but not their books and other supplies.
That's where this scholarship can make a difference.
LWCC's Fundraising Chair Sue Goodsen says, "In this way we're putting a little more money towards that single mother or non-traditional mother who really needs to help her children and become an active part of our community."
All the models in the fashion show were volunteers.
