Catholic Charities Omaha is hosting a Farmers Market on Friday for those in need.

Thanks to a grant from the Wal-Mart Fighting Hunger Together Initiative, Catholic Charities will provide free, fresh produce for 250 low-income families.

Corn, cantaloupe, cucumbers, tomatoes and watermelons are available at the Catholic Charities Christ Child North Center at North 21st and Emmet streets on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies last.

Catholic Charities food pantries feed more than 7,500 families in the metro each year.
