It was a sad scene for many at TD Ameritrade Park Wednesday.
After the College World Series ended, crews were putting things back to normal.
Tents and other fanfest structures were coming down.
After 10 days of college baseball festivities, some crews say tearing down was the most difficult.
“From a staffing standpoint, it is. It's a little somber because we do put a year effort into this, and here we are, packing up and moving out,” says Joe Menaugh, of the College World Series of Omaha Inc.
College World Series staff says from here, they pay some bills, send out surveys to this year's teams, and immediately start planning next year's series.
