A Heartland boy is recovering at home after being hit by a car.
Jorge Machuca saw his little brother, Kevin, get hit by a car on Saturday. He says Kevin ran out into the street because he was going after Spike, the family's dog.
Kevin was taken to Children's Hospital in serious condition. Kevin returned home on Monday. Jorge says Kevin has a broken pelvic bone and can't walk for about a month.
Omaha Police are still looking for the person who hit Kevin. They describe the car as a black Chevy Impala or Monte Carlo. The car could possibly have damage on the driver's side front end.
Speed is not believed to be a factor in this crash.
