Laquita Stewart stopped by with her kids. She says now she knows just how to keep her children busy until school starts again.
“I have five kids and we're always trying to find different and fun things to do. We've gotten a couple of nice things to do.”
At the event families could pick up coupon booklets to some of Omaha's top attractions like the zoo, The Lauritzen Gardens, and several museums in the area.
Catherine Turner recently moved from San Diego and is excited to learn about the exciting things Omaha has to offer.
“We have the zoo passes and we also have the Omaha museum passes for the season so we'll be doing a lot of outdoor activities with them and traveling.”
The Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau is hoping families take advantage of all the amazing activities that tourists from around the country come to see.
If you missed the festival a limited number of coupon books will be available at the Durham museum.
