A downtown Omaha street is in such bad shape, a local man is using Facebook to rally support to fix the problems.

Whether people are driving, or biking, or walking, it might be a good idea to proceed with caution on Jones Street, specifically between 11th and 13th Streets.

"Oh, it is horrendous when you drive down this road," said Shane Bainbridge. "It's horrendous. It's dangerous."

"So, you've got sewer caps, surrounded by brick, surrounded by asphalt, surrounded by patchy concrete work and all of it is breaking apart in different areas," said Matt Linder, the creator of the Facebook Page, "Fix Jones Street."

Linder hopes the Facebook page will send the right message, to the right people who can fix the many problems on Jones.

Channel Six left a messages with the city. So far, it is uncertain whether there are plans in the works to improve the area.
