Highway work begins Monday on a busy highway south of the metro.
Weather permitting, joint repair is to begin on the US Highway 75 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad five miles north of Nebraska City, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
The Cassgram reports traffic will be maintained with lane closures and temporary traffic lights.
Work is anticipated to take five days.
