Ex-Penn State President Spanier Could Still Face Charges

More than a month after an explosive investigative report accused Penn State's ousted president of covering up child sex abuse allegations against Jerry Sandusky, Graham Spanier has so far avoided criminal charges. Legal experts say that doesn't mean he's in the clear.

Lawyers for two of Spanier's alleged conspirators, Athletic Director Tim Curley and retired Vice President Gary Schultz, are due in court Thursday to try to persuade a judge to dismiss charges related to the Sandusky scandal.

Legal experts say Spanier also remains vulnerable to criminal charges over his alleged role in a scandal that has shaken Penn State to its core. Spanier maintains he has done nothing wrong.
