An important opportunity to train organizations throughout the community. The focus Thursday was serving people that have experienced trauma.
Alegent Creighton Health held an emotional CPR training session at Immanuel Medical Center to allow people to better understand and overcome fear that's brought on by crisis situations.
Doris Moore leads the Center for Holistic Development and says she's come away with steps to empower her clients even more.
"What this did was reinforce my belief that it's all about relationships and the more we can engage in positive listening relationships with people the more we can make those changes that have to happen in the community."
The group has been meeting in sessions all week and ended the training with an Emotional CPR certificate.
