More than 450 early childhood educators from across Nebraska and Iowa gathered Saturday at Ralston High School for the latest updates in teaching.
The Omaha Association for the Education of Young Children has been putting on the annual Kaleidoscope Conference for more than 20 years. Educators who specialize in children up to 8 years old met with vendors and listened to an expert speaking on a number of subjects.
The AEYC says this was a great opportunity for teachers. "Early childhood changes drastically and quickly with the research that we have and so it's really important that providers stay up-to-date on that," said Kathleen Feller with the Omaha AEYC.
