Earth Day Omaha

Omaha's Earth Day Celebration has been set. The event will take place in Elmwood Park on Saturday, April 20th.

The free event will feature exhibit booths, children’s activities, demonstrations and short speaker sessions, plus live music from top local bands and food from area vendors.

All activities are designed to educate and inspire attendees to live green and healthy at home and at work.

Organizers will be handing out "Friend of the Environment Awards." To nominate someone who has spent an significant amount of time and energy to protect the environment you can go to the link at the bottom of the page.

This is the 23rd annual Earth Day in Omaha. The event runs from 11AM until 6PM.
