An Eagle, Nebraska man is dead after being ejected from his car in an accident Saturday night.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department says 20-year-old Trevor Underwood was driving on Saltillo Road around 11:15 p.m. headed east when it left the roadway near South 40th Street.
The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting Underwood. Twenty-one-year-old Codi Werth of Lincoln was a passenger in the car. He is listed in critical but stable condition at Bryan LGH West after being taken from the scene by medical helicopter.
Officials believe Underwood was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
