Two men are seen walking out of a Lincoln, NE Wal-Mart. Police say they used a stolen $100 check to buy groceries. The incident happened September 2011.
A stolen $100 check was used at a Lincoln Wal-Mart store. Police say a surveillance camera snapped a picture of the two muscled suspects leaving the store in September, smiling as they walked away with free groceries.
An investigation discovered that the $100 check was written out to pay for someone’s rent. The thieves, who may or may not be the shopping duo, changed the check to be payable to Wal-Mart.
