A drug bust Friday in western Nebraska resulted in 14 arrests on charges of suspicion of aiding and abetting distribution of a controlled substance. The suspects range in age from 17 to 64. Most are from Lexington and Cozad.
The raid, carried out by the Cooperative Operation for Drug Enforcement drug task force, netted undisclosed amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and prescription drugs. The arrests were made as part of an investigation that began in September 2011.
