Two drivers were taken into police custody Monday morning after being involved in crashes.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in both incidents. Officers first responded to an incident in a Baker's parking lot at 173rd and Lakeside Hills Plaza. The driver of a black pickup truck allegedly hit another car elsewhere in town, and the other driver followed that truck to the grocery store.
Police put the driver of the truck through a field sobriety test. After that, he was taken into custody.
Another crash left a woman unharmed near 60th and Pacific. The driver failed to make a turn there and slammed into a pole. She was also taken into custody.
Police have not yet said if either driver will face any criminal charges.
