An Omaha man is recovering from a serious crash Tuesday night on South Saddle Creek Road and Leavenworth.
Police said 37-year-old Donald Siegal lost control of his van and slammed into a metal light pole. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition with multiple lacerations to his head.
Police reported that Siegel was not wearing a seat belt. He was issued a citation for DUI and reckless driving.
