A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for areas west of Omaha until 11 p.m.; however, the metro area will likely have thunderstorms on and off throughout the overnight.
The driver who allegedly went through a red light and crashed into a car last month, injuring two people, including a pregnant woman, was arrested Friday.
Police say 21-year-old Carlos Moore hit the car driven by 26-year-old Ashley Mruz of Omaha at 72nd and Dodge just after 3 a.m. on March 9th. Moore was allegedly drunk at the time.
Mruz, who was eight months pregnant and suffered a broken hip, was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center for a successful emergency delivery. Her baby boy remains in the intensive care unit will be there for some time.
