An Omaha driver is recovering after being shot early Sunday morning.
Twenty-one-year-old Creighton Jones told police he was a passenger in an SUV that crashed into a wooden pole at Blondo Street and Keystone Drive just after 2 a.m. Jones said someone shot at the vehicle.
The driver, 24-year-old Michael Goynes, was found at 88th and Maple suffering from a gunshot wound not thought to be life threatening. Jones was treated at the accident scene for minor cuts to his arm.
