The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.
Emergency crews were called to a house near 96th and Fort St after a driver lost control and ran a mini van into the house's garage.
It happened just before 10:30 Thursday morning.
Police aren't sure how it happened, but say the driver of a silver Mazda mini van lost control while driving east on Fort St.
The car went off the road, cut through some bushes, and came to a stop after running into the garage of a house nearby.
Police say the residents weren't home at the time.
The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police don't know why the driver lost control.
They tell Channel 6 News a medical condition may have been a factor.
