Driver Killed In Two-Vehicle Collision

A driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash north of Shenandoah, Iowa Saturday night.

A car heading westbound on 110th Street and a pickup going southbound on C Avenue collided at the intersection around 11:15 p.m.

The driver of the pickup, 53-year-old Gary Williams Sr. of Essex, Iowa, was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, 51-year-old Everett Larson of Imogene, Iowa, was taken by medical helicopter to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha for treatment of injuries not considered to be life threatening.
