An 88-year-old woman was killed Sunday afternoon when her minivan collided with a pickup that was pulling out of the Lincoln East High School parking lot.
Lincoln Police Capt. Jim Davidsaver said a medical problem may have contributed to the crash that killed Flossie Bonnell. Capt. Davidsaver said Bonnell sideswiped a car and sped north on 70th Street before hitting the truck. Witnesses told police the van may have been going as fast as 60 mph.
Two people in the truck were injured, but are expected to be okay.
