The driver killed in a two-vehicle Dodge County crash Friday morning has been identified as 35-year-old Skeeter Garule of Hooper.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Department says a car driven by Garule heading southbound on County Road 20 was hit by a westbound semi at the intersection of Highway 275 south of Hooper around 6:30 a.m. Heavy fog in the area was a possible factor in the accident. There is a stop sign for county road traffic.
Garule was pronounced dead at the scene. He is survived by his 6-year-old son Alex.
The truck driver, 49-year-old Arthur Orchard of Omaha, was not hurt.
