A driver flown by medical helicopter after a rollover crash near 240th and West Dodge Road south of Waterloo, Nebraska Saturday morning is now in fair condition.
Investigators say it appears 26-year-old Brett Rave of Valley lost control on a turn and flipped over. Rave was ejected. The crash happened at the interchange of West Dodge Road and Highway 275 just before 3 a.m.
Paramedics called for a medical helicopter to take Rave to the hospital, but there was too much fog near the ground for the helicopter to land.
Rave was put on an ambulance and driven to Methodist Women's Hospital near 194th and Dodge. The helicopter was able to land there and the victim was then flown to the Nebraska Medical Center.
As of Monday afternoon, Rave was listed in fair condition.
