Omaha police say alcohol was a factor in a crash that sent one man to the hospital and another to jail Saturday morning.
A car and a minivan collided at the intersection of the Storz Expressway and 16th Street around 4 a.m. “One party was transported to University of Nebraska Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries,” said OPD Sgt. Jason Menning. “They have a fractured neck, a broken neck."
The driver of the car, 27-year-old Scott Sueper of Omaha, was able to move his arms and legs at the hospital.
The driver of the minivan, 30-year-old Michael Wilson of Omaha, was not hurt. He was booked into Douglas County Corrections on charges of DUI causing serious bodily injury and driving during suspension.
