A crash in midtown Omaha on Friday morning sent one woman to the hospital after the car she was driving and another vehicle ended up on the sidewalk.
The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on Farnam Street near the intersection with 27th. A man who arrived on scene just after the crash said it was his girlfriend who was driving the rented Mustang.
Witnesses say the driver reported being cut off by another vehicle, causing her to slam into a parked Fiat. Both cars barreled over parking meters and concrete planters before coming to a stop just feet from an office building. One parking meter landed on the sidewalk across the street.
The driver was taken by ambulance. Her boyfriend told WOWT 6 News she's expected to be okay.
