An 86-year-old Stromsburg man has been killed in a collision with a semitrailer.
The accident occurred about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Stromsburg.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Donald Baker was driving his pickup south on U.S. Highway 81 when he turned in front of a northbound tractor-trailer driven by 67-year-old Donald Glanzer, of Bridgewater, S.D.
The patrol says Baker died at the scene and that Glanzer wasn't injured.
The crash is under investigation.
