One person is injured and the driver arrested in a rollover crash on Interstate 29.
Just after 1 a.m. Thursday, fire and rescue crews were called to I-29 near the Highway 92 exit. Police say the driver of the Volkswagen Passat was southbound on I-29 when he missed a curve in the highway. The car slammed into the concrete median and flipped, landing in the northbound lanes. The impact knocked several wheels off the car.
There were three people in the car. The driver and front seat passenger were not hurt. A passenger in the back was transported to the hospital with a shoulder injury.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of Operating While Intoxicated.
