The Omaha Downtown Improvement District has hired Holly Barrett as its new Executive Director. She comes to the organization with 14 years of experience in public relations, community advocacy and event management.
Most recently, Barrett served as the Executive Director of Denver's LoDo area, a popular downtown spot.
Ms. Barrett is quoted in a news release as saying, "I'm thrilled to make my new home in downtown Omaha, and I am very much looking forward to making a contribution to this already vibrant city."
Barrett replaces Joe Gudenrath and will begin her new position in Omaha on October 1st.
