The Douglas County Assessor & Douglas County Board of Equalization have arranged for a public forum to discuss property valuations and how to properly file a valuation protest.
The forum will include a brief presentation by Assessor Roger Morrissey and Assistant County Manager Rick Kubat. That will be followed by questions from those attending the forum.
The forum is set for 6:30pm Tuesday June 5. It will be held at the legislative chambers in the Omaha-Douglas County Civic Center at 1819 Farnam Street.
Free parking will be available.
