Two Democratic candidates for Nebraska's 2nd congressional district are scheduled to debate each other next month in Omaha.
The Douglas County Democratic Party announced Wednesday that it
has set the debate between Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing and state Sen. Gwen Howard for Jan. 20.
The debate will start at 7 p.m. at the Douglas County Democrats'
annual Truman Dinner.
Candidates will be asked questions about job creation, government spending, foreign policy, social issues and Medicare and Social Security programs. Questions will be submitted by voters within the district.
