Suspect's Neighbors Speak Out

The number one priority for the Omaha Police department is learning more about Anthony Joseph Garcia.

He is suspected of murdering Dr. Roger Brumback and his wife, Mary in May 2013. As well as, Thomas Hunter and Shirlee Sherman, who were murdered in the Dundee neighborhood in 2008.

Omaha police said they have recently been monitoring Garcia's movements, and now after his arrest on Monday July 15th, law enforcement obtained a warrant to search his home in Terre Haute, Indiana.

In Terre Haute, neighbors of Garcia spoke out after learning of his arrest.

"There has been cops at his house before, so we always wondered," said a neighbor.

Police have not released anything about Garcia's current employment status, but neighbors said he kept a very odd schedule.

"Weeks at a time we won't see his car, or anyone leave, just very weird," said the same neighbor.

Chief Todd Schmaderer said Garcia's neighborhood isn't the only place they are digging for information.

"Right we are serving search warrants at other locations in which he may have worked, lived, or has, or somebody there has a connection to Mr. Garcia that we feel we need to talk to," said Chief Schmaderer, Omaha Police Department.
