A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for northern Mills and southwestern Fremont counties in Iowa and Cass, eastern Sarpy and eastern Otoe counties in Nebraska until 3:45 p.m. Sunday. A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. Sunday for southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa, including Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.
The Fremont Nebraska Humane Society tells Channel 6 News that they have a yellow lab in quarantine after it bit a child this morning in Fremont.
The child was taken to Creighton Medical Center.
It's unclear what led to the dog biting the child.
