A dog that vanished after a multi-vehicle crash in northern Iowa last month has been found and will be returned to its owner.
The pet named Jackie was traveling with Cody and Colby Bostick and their infant son Easton on December 20th when the accident occurred on Interstate 35 near Webster City. The 27-year-old Colby, who was four months pregnant with twins, died in the crash. Jackie ran from the scene.
On Tuesday, a Minnesota woman found the dog along the interstate in Story County and took her home. The woman posted an item online in an attempt to find the dog's owner. Cody, who has since moved to Texas, exchanged photos with the woman and confirmed the dog is Jackie.
They're making plans to get Jackie back with her family.
