A traffic accident on Monday afternoon flipped one of the two vehicles on its top and snarled traffic but no one was seriously hurt.
It happened at 40th and Dodge around 2 p.m.
One vehicle was northbound on 40th and when it collided with a westbound Honda SUV. The Honda was flipped on its top and the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The two people in the other vehicle escaped injury.
While en route to the hospital, Marsha Riley called her daughter and told her about the crash.
"I started crying when I first saw the car but I was fine on the phone with her because she seemed completely fine and then once I saw if I started to freak out," Eileen Riley.
Traffic on Dodge and 40th streets was shut down for a short time in all directions.
Officers were able to move the Mercedes out of Dodge street.
