A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Pawnee and Richardson counties in southeast Nebraska until 3 p.m. Thursday.
Sports lovers rejoice! A brand new DJ's Dugout is in the works in West Omaha and it will feature more than four dozen televisions.
DJ's Dugout, which is locally-owned, plans to open its fifth location at 180th and Q Street in July 2014. Officials said the new sports bar will feature a full menu and over 50 High Definition TV’s including seven 159” HD projection screens, two 103” plasma televisions and forty-two 65” plasma televisions.
“DJ’s Dugout is excited to become an active part of Southwest Omaha’s entertainment scene,” said Darwin Hanssen, President of DJ’s Dugout. “There’s a lot of growth happening in the 180th & Q area and we’re excited to bring our newest & most state of the art DJ’s Dugout Sports Bar to the Millard area,” Hanssen said.
The new location at 180th & Q will also feature two party rooms, one that will accommodate 25-30 people and another that will accommodate 45-50 people or can be opened up to accommodate 75-80 people. Chad King will be the General Manager for the new 180th & Q DJ’s Dugout.
