A Valley County man will make his television debut on the Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs."
Ben Schamp of Elyria can be seen getting dirty with the hit show's host, Mike Rowe, on Tuesday night.
The local radio station in Ord spoke with Schamp about the experience.
Schamp says Rowe did all the dirty jobs that go along with
working at Warner Construction Asphalt - including dumping and spreading hot asphalt.
Rowe and Schamp shot the episode in August in far western
Nebraska. Schamp says Rowe also ran a loader to tear out the old asphalt, cleared debris from the road with a broom truck and drove a truck that shoots oil down before the first layer of asphalt is poured.
