Confusing accident scene clears up for investigators.
Reports show the accident deputies learned about Sunday morning at 30th and Cedar Creek Road had actually happened late Saturday night. Deputies were told a boy had sustained only a minor injury to his hand. The woman who had been the driver was cited for driving under suspension and there was a license pick-up order against her. She was also cited for leaving the scene of an accident.
In another crash, the Cassgram reports a 17-year-old female driver was in a rollover accident west of Elmwood late Sunday afternoon. She told deputies she swerved to miss a deer. Then the 2001 Ford Focus she was driving went out of control, rolled and landed in its side in a bean field. She was taken to a Lincoln hospital by Elmwood Rescue. She had her seat belt on.
