There is a Dense Fog Advisory until noon today with visibilities below a quarter mile at times.

Temperatures across the region were slightly above freezing at sunrise for most areas in and around the metro.

Areas well west of town were in the lower 30s with some slick spots possible from Norfolk down through Beatrice.

The slick spots will be most likely on bridges and overpasses.

As the day progresses the fog will slowly burn off and temperatures will rise into the 40s for all areas.

The clouds will be hard to break this afternoon with mostly cloudy skies expected with patchy drizzle possible.

Enjoy the day and make sure to allow for extra time on the roads throughout the morning.
