Make-A-Wish Offer Late

A delay shouldn’t penalize Husker fans who ordered a football for a Christmas. Cornhusker Big 10 footballs that were sold to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation should make it to customers before the holidays, but it will take a last minute drive by the company selling the gift.

Niko Sports of St. Louis told Channel Six News that hundreds of footballs stamped with Nebraska and Big 10 logos are taking longer to produce than expected. A company spokesperson said the change in the Big 10 graphic created a rights issue for the company that is being worked out.

Niko Sports expects the footballs to arrive at their shipping dock by December 21st. The company plans a quick turn around so the gifts can arrive on customer porches right before Christmas.

They say no customers' credit cards have been charged yet.

Anyone with questions can call Niko Sports at 1-800-345-2868 during business hours to speak to a representative.
