Muzzleloader Deer Hunts at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge.Hunting opportunities at DeSoto and Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuges are available on a regulated basis.
The hunts are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 20-21, December 8-9 and January 12-13.
All hunters must be licensed and abide by all applicable federal and state regulations. See our hunting page for more information.During the muzzleloader deer hunt weekends, the refuge will have a partial closure.
The road will only be open to the DeSoto Visitor Center which will remain open. No other roads will be open and all trails will be closed for visitor safety.
