Members of the Latino Peace Officers Association, Omaha Chapter, invited the public to celebrate the dedication of the Bob Campos Soccer Complex on Friday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. at 33rd and Q Streets.
Bob Campos is a South Omaha native who has given countless hours toward developing youth soccer by maintaining a quality soccer field. The field will become home to athletic activities organized by the Latino Peace Officers Association.
The Latino Peace Officers Association soccer program has been a part of the community for over 7 years, providing our youth the opportunity to develop into productive citizens through athletics while focusing on sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork.
Currently, the LPOA soccer program serves nearly 600 youth in our community and we are excited that we will now have the opportunity to expand the program city-wide, while continuing the tradition Bob Campos has established at the “Bob Campos Soccer Complex”.
