A planned debate between the Republican candidates for Nebraska's gubernatorial race has been canceled. The debate was going to take place at Papillion-La Vista South High School Wednesday.
No reason was given for the cancellation. The debate was one of three scheduled debates before the primary.
Republican candidates include Attorney General Jon Bruning, State Senator Tom Carlson, Auditor Mike Foley, State Senator Beau McCoy, Pete Rickets, the former COO of TD Ameritrade, and Omaha attorney Bryan Slone.
The primary is May 13th.
