The Intercultural Senior Center invites the entire Omaha community to its third annual “Dia de Los Muertos” (Day of the Day) celebration on Friday, Oct. 26.
The center is located in south Omaha at 2021 U St.
The fundraising event, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., will feature an altar display, live music, raffles, sugar skulls, delicious food, crafts, and activities for kids and for the first time in Omaha a haunted house.
The Day of the Dead is a traditional Latin American holiday that celebrates life by honoring and remembering family members and friends who have passed away.
The center would like to invite all the community of Omaha to this unique cultural experience with the purpose of integrating all cultures and ages, for a fun time, tradition and delicious food.
