City crews were out early this morning cutting down big, dead trees in one metro neighborhood.
They needed the heavy equipment for the tree at 32nd and Newport.
The Public Works Department cuts down the marked trees in the public right of way.
The trees that are marked are either diseased, or have been weakened by storms or simply their age.
