Crews Getting Ready For Christmas Tree Disposal

After the holiday season passes, crews will be ready to take old Christmas trees in the Omaha metro and Lincoln.

Be sure to remove any decorations (including ornaments, tinsel, lights, tree stands, wires, etc.) before dropping off any trees. The sites open on Christmas Eve and will stay open until January 12th.

12 sites will be opened in Omaha for disposal.
-Bellevue Old Sarpy County Landfill, 8902 Cedar Island Rd.
-F St. Football Field, 156th & F
-Henry Doorly Zoo parking lot, 13th & Bob Gibson Dr.
-Hughes Mulch Products, 311 Keystone Dr.
-Kelly West Park, 87th & Park View Blvd.
-La Vista Sports Complex, 66th & Harrison
-Orchard Park, 66th & Hartman Ave.
-Papio Bay, 815 E Halleck St.
-Papillion Senior Center, 1001 Limerick Rd.
-Ta Ha Zouka Park, 20801 Elkhorn Dr.
-Tranquility Park, 120th & West Maple Rd.
-Wehrspann Lake, Highway 370 & 168th

Seven sites will be opened in Lincoln as well.
-Ballard Park, 2901 N. 66th St.
-Hofeling Enterprises, 2200 South Folsom Court
-Holmes Lake Park, 70th & Van Dorn
-Oak Lake Park
-Tierra Park, 29th & Tierra Dr.
-University Place Park
-Woods Park, 31st & J
