Crews began work Monday to install a traffic light at the intersection of 204th and Harrison, which has been the scene of several crashes.
State officials told WOWT 6 News they expect to have the signal up and running by this fall.
Numerous crashes have occurred at this intersection, including the crash in November 2013 that took the life of 19-year-old Dylan Krula. In that case, no charges were filed. Investigators determined neither Krula or the other driver, who was not seriously hurt, had time to react in order to prevent the crash.
